Artist Statement
My work is an exploration of materiality and the relationships we form with the materials that surround us. I approach my practice with intuition, allowing the inherent qualities of each material to guide my process. Through experimentation, I examine how materials carry both their natural essence and the societal meanings that shape them. This tension between the material’s physicality and the interpretations we place on it informs my artistic practice. I am interested in the porous boundaries between humans, non-humans, and the environment, questioning how these relationships reflect our connection to the world around us.
