Painting
My painting practice goes beyond traditional flat surfaces, incorporating thick, textured layers of paint that blur the line between painting and sculpture. Each piece is a tactile exploration where the material itself becomes an active participant in the work. The physicality of the paint, its texture, and depth, become as important as color and composition. I use these layers to create dynamic surfaces that invite not just visual, but also physical engagement. Through this approach, my paintings transform into sculptural objects in their own right, drawing attention to the materiality of the paint and its ability to shape and alter the space it occupies. These works invite viewers to consider how texture and form interact with meaning, pushing the boundaries of what a painting can be.
